Humberto Pacheco Coto Foundation

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of its establishment and honor the memory of its Founder, PACHECO COTO —the dean of Costa Rica’s law firms— has constituted the HUMBERTO PACHECO COTO FOUNDATION, a private organization of corporate social responsibility,. This non-profit entity comprises 2 philanthropic projects of educational nature:

• A program of scholarships for law students with limited economic resources, established in alliance with ULACIT,
• A program in the area of human rights, based on pre-emptive education and assistance to teenage girls and single mothers-to-be between the ages of 13 and 18, within a comprehensive perspective of their environment and the enhancement of their socio-cultural skills.

This initiative has been established in alliance with the PANIAMOR Foundation, where the HUMBERTO PACHECO COTO Foundation with give that prestigious institution the solidarity and financial investment required to carry out the project named SOLO PARA CHICAS, with the participation of 720 teenagers of socially disadvantaged standing.

The Humberto Pacheco Coto Foundation is a secular, apolitical organization.
